Dividends in hibooks is a list of the dividends your company pays to your shareholders. You can create as many as you want while you have profit available and you can also edit and delete them, as well as view the voucher which you can export in a PDF format. How do I Create a Dividend ?
Select Accounting from the sidebar menu then select Dividends from the drop-down menu.
Select Add Dividend.

Note: Because Shareholder and Account fields are connected in hibooks, when you select a shareholder, only those accounts that relate to that shareholder will be displayed. If you select an account, you’ll see a list of shareholders that relate to that account. Alternatively, when you select an account, the list of shareholders linked to that account is displayed.
How do I View Dividend Details ?
Select Accounting from the sidebar menu then select Dividends from the drop-down menu.
On your Dividends page, select the dividend you wish to view.
The Dividend Overview tab shows detailed information about a dividend, including its date, description, type of account, and the total amount. Here you can edit and delete this dividend, or view the related voucher.
How do I Edit a Dividend ?
On your Dividends page, select the dividend you wish to edit.
Click on Edit at the top right of the page.
Make your edits and then click on Save to keep your changes.
How do I View and Export a Dividend Voucher ?
On your Dividends page, select the dividend you wish to view a voucher from.
Select View Voucher from the top right of the page.
For each dividend, the dividend creates a dividend voucher and Minutes of Meeting and also autocompletes shareholder and dividend details. You can view this voucher in a pdf format by selecting Export PDF.
How do I Delete a Dividend ?
On your Dividends page, select the dividend you wish to delete.
Select Delete at the top right of the page.
